The area of El Puerto de Santa María is suitable for holidays throughout the year. El Puerto is a charming old fishing town located across the bay from Cadiz, on the Costa de la Luz. The town has many sights, restaurants and bars. This location is almost unknown to foreign tourists therefore this area is unspoiled by mass tourism with endless great beaches. During high season in July and August there are plenty Spanish holidaymakers in the area but during the rest of the years there are few tourists. This is also the area that has most hours of sunshine per year in Spain. On Costa de la luz you can visit casinos, water parks, enjoy shopping and restaurants and you can also visit the famous Bodegas in Jerez, and interesting historical cities such as Seville, Cádiz and Ronda. |
